Through a unique blend of high-quality academics and hands-on, nature-based discovery, we plant the Word of God deep in the hearts of our youngest learners.

How We Learn
At Rooted In Christ Academy, we believe the world is our classroom. Our Discovery-Based curriculum engages children through hands-on unit studies. To ensure excellent academic readiness, we blend trusted, premier resources like Abeka and All About Reading into our daily rhythm.
However, instead of hours of sedentary desk work, we bring these lessons to life. Our students learn phonics through sensory play, math through nature-counting, and science through direct observation of God’s creation. This active learning ensures that lessons are not just memorized, but deeply rooted in their hearts.
Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum is designed to grow as your child grows. We believe in a blended approach: using hands-on, nature-based discovery to spark wonder, and proven academic tools to ensure school readiness.
The Pre-K 4 Program: The Sprout Year
Focus: Sensory discovery and establishing a love for God’s Word.

📖 Bible: We use The Jesus Storybook Bible to show how every story in the Scripture points directly to Jesus, building a beautiful foundation of faith.

🍎 Phonics: A multi-sensory, game-based approach blending All About Reading and Abeka resources. We bring letters to life through interactive play and phonics games rather than heavy writing.

🌲 Math & Science: Guided by Abeka’s foundational concepts, we use nature as our primary classroom. Students learn counting, sorting, shapes, and science by exploring the outdoors and using natural loose parts like seeds and stones.
